With this move, the cooperatives are joining forces and making it clear: together we can achieve more. Working together will not only strengthen the future of these cooperatives, but also keep the proceeds of renewable energy in their own communities as much as possible.
"We are proud to be doing this together. By sharing our ownership, we ensure that renewable energy really belongs to all of us," Says Miranda Peer, president of Coöperatie Duursaam Buurtwint.
The signing at the notary's office is a festive moment, but above all a symbolic step: more cooperation, more clout and more opportunities to shape the energy transition locally.
